Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio will have a recurring role in season five of Law & Order: Organized Crime.

Law & Order: Organized Crime follows the detectives of the Organized Crime Control Bureau as they take on New York City's most vicious and violent criminal syndicates. Christopher Meloni, Danielle Moné Truitt and Ainsley Seiger star.

Law & Order: Organized Crime was renewed for a fifth season in April following the announcement that the procedural series would move from NBC to Peacock. The move gives Peacock an original Dick Wolf drama series in addition to the Wolf Entertainment library and next-day airings of the remaining NBC series Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Chicago Med, Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, which are up to the platform's most viewed titles.

This is the second series in the Law & Order franchise to transition to another platform after its start on NBC. Law & Order: Criminal Intent ran for four additional seasons on USA Network after the first six on NBC.

Dick Wolf, John Shiban, Mike Slovis, Christopher Meloni and Peter Jankowski produce Law & Order: Organized Crime. Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, produces in association with Wolf Entertainment.

Mastrantonio is an Academy Award-nominated actress best known for her film roles in Scarface, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, The Abyss, The Perfect Storm and The Color of Money. In television, she has appeared in NBC's fantasy series Grimm, CBS' comedy-drama Limitless, Marvel's The Punisher and NBC's crime series Blindspot.
