Topher Grace has been tapped for a recurring role in the upcoming Netflix drama series The Waterfront.



Inspired by true events, the eight-episode series delves into the Buckley family, led by Harlan Buckley (Holt McCallany) and Mae Buckley (Maria Bello), as their efforts to maintain control of their crumbling North Carolina fishing empire lead them to... more dangerous means to keep themselves alive.

The series is written and produced by Kevin Williamson.



Grace (pictured) plays Grady: a shrewd and intense individual who wants to do business with the Buckley family.

The main cast also includes Jake Weary and Melissa Benoist as Cane Buckley and Bree Buckley, respectively.

Williamson and Ben Fast produce for Outerbanks Entertainment. Marcos Siega (You, Dexter: New Blood) directs the first two episodes and serves as executive producer on the pilot. Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, where Williamson is under an overall deal, is the studio.

On television, Grace most recently appeared in ABC's comedy series Home Economics, which ran for three seasons, and reprised his role from That 70's ​​Show for a guest spot on That '90s Show, a sequel to the hit comedy series for Netflix.
