CBS finally announced a date for the second season of ‘Under the Dome’. Originally ‘Under the Dome’ would be a limited event of one season with thirteen episodes. But CBS stated that due to the high ratings ‘Under the Dome’ will be renewed with a second season. Viewers of myseries.tv voted ‘Under the Dome’ as the best newcomer of 2013.
The series ‘Under the Dome’ is based on the same name novel by Stephen King. ‘Under the Dome’ will return with Big Jim and the rest of the inhabitants of Chester‘s Mill on June 30th at 10 pm. The Master of Horror Stephen King himself will write the pilot of season two. And according to the teaser shown at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour, two of ‘Under the Dome’ favorite characters will die.
CBS has a limited event (at least for now) series ‘Extant’ coming up in July. The series ‘Extant’ by Steven Spielberg will feature Halle Berry as an astronaut who returns home after thirteen months alone in space, only to find out that she didn’t come back alone. Story details are vague but after a first look at the teaser video this is reviled: Berry’s character is pregnant with an alien baby and her husband is an inventor and is making an android baby. The series ‘Extant’ promises to be a combination of artificial intelligence with extraterrestrial intelligence. Production will start in February and the pilot will premiere on Wednesday July 2nd at 9pm.
