Ann B. Davis was best known for her character Alice Nelson the housekeeper in ‘The Brady Bunch’.

Ann B. Davis died after an accident in the bathroom in her home in Texas. She fell and hit her head. She was rushed to the hospital, but she never regained her consciousness and passed away later in the day.

Davis was born in 1926 in the state New York and started her career in ‘The Bob Cummings Show’ as the lovesick secretary Charmaine ‘Schultzy’ Schultz from 1955 till 1959. She won two Emmys for that role. She played Alice Nelson in ‘The Brady Bunch’ from 1969 till 1974. In 1995 she had a cameo in ‘The Brady Bunch Movie’ as a truck driver ‘Schultzy’.

She also wrote ‘Alice’s Brady Bunch Cookbook’ in 1994 with Brady-inspired recipes.
