With only two episodes to go in the fourth season HBO series 'Game of Thrones' is the most watched ever.

The Mafia series ‘The Sopranos’ had the record of 18.2 million viewers since 2002. The fantasy/adventure series 'Game of Thrones' topped that with 200.000 viewers and now hold the record with 18.4 million viewers.

The series, based on the best-seller novel A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin, is not the best watched series in the United States. They have to let the zombies go before them. AMC’s 'The Walking Dead' currently have about 28 million viewers.
