Ben Woolf, the actor who played Meep in ‘American Horror Story’, died of injuries he sustained when he was hit by a car last week. While he was crossing the street, a SUV struck him in the head with the side mirror. Since last Thursday Ben was in a coma in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The driver of the car was not charged because Ben was jaywalking.

Ben Woolf had a form of dwarfism and was 4’4”. Ben played Infantana in the first season of ‘American Horror Story’ and returned in season four as Meep, because all he could say was ‘meep’. In addition to being an actor, he was also a teacher at a kindergarten.

Ryan Murphy, the creator of ‘American Horror Story’, tweeted the following message after the death of Ben Woolf: “RIP Ben Woolf. One of the most inspirational people I've ever met.”

Ben Woolf was 34 years old.
