A dysfunctional family of superheroes tries to solve the mystery of their father's death and the threat of apocalypse in The Umbrella Academy. The first season ended with a cliffhanger and was watched by many. It didn't come as a surprise when a second season was announced. Cast members Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher and Justin Min have already been confirmed for the second season.
Ritu Arya
It is now clear that we will also see a new face in the future. Ritu Arya, known for her role in Humans and Sherlock, has a role in the series as Lila Pitts. She is described as a chameleon that can adapt well to whatever circumstances she finds herself in.
The Umbrella Academy is an adaptation of Gerard Way's comic published by Dark Horse. The second season consists of ten episodes of sixty minutes each, just like season one. A release date for season two has not yet been revealed.
