The Mallorca Files revolves around Detective Miranda Blake (Elen Rhys), an introverted person who likes to do everything according to the book. But then she has to work with the German detective Max Winter (Julian Looman), who is the opposite. Despite their very different approaches, the investigators are a perfectly complementary partnership as they try to solve a new crime on the island every week.
The light-hearted detective series The Mallorca Files can be seen on BBC First from 9 March at 9 p.m. The series was developed by Dan Sefton and proves to be a success, because the BBC has already ordered a second season. The first season consists of ten episodes.
