Resident Evil, the upcoming series based on the games of the same name, has been delayed. Production is unable to begin due to the coronavirus.

Last January, it was announced that Netflix is currently working on the Resident Evil series. The series is based on the video game series of the same name. Constantin Films, which also produced the Resident Evil movies, is currently working on a Netflix variant.

The cast and crew were set to begin production in June, but due to the coronavirus, this is no longer achievable. And thus, production has been delayed. It is not yet known when production is set to begin. No trailer has been released as of yet, as there is no footage, but down below you can watch the trailer for the latest film.

Allegedly, the series will primarily focus on the horror aspects of the game instead of the action scenes that were the primary aspect of the movies. The series will revolve around the dark activities of the Umbrella Corporation and will show the new world order, which has been created by the outbreak of the T-virus.
