Netflix has revealed the premiere date for the fourth season of The Crown. Next to that, they've also released a teaser.

The fourth season of The Crown will release on Netflix on the 15th of November. Next to that, a teaser has also been released that shows Emma Corrin (Pennyworth) as Princess Diana. In the fourth season, Gillian Anderson (Sex Education) will also join the cast. She will feature as the first female British prime minister Margaret Thatcher.

This is the final season that'll feature Olivia Colman (Broadchurch) as Queen Elizabeth. In the fifth and sixth season, that role will be portrayed by Imelda Staunton (A Confession). The series was renewed for a final fifth season, but received a renewal for a sixth season in July. Even though a large portion of the cast for the upcoming two seasons has already been revealed, we may have to wait for a little bit. The Crown will be taking a production break for a year after the upcoming season, which means that the fifth season may not release until 2022.
