Goosebumps (2023) completes the cast for the second season with five new actors

Following the news of David Schwimmer and Ana Ortiz in the Disney+ anthology series Goosebumps (2023), the project is rounding out its core cast.
The series comes from Disney Branded Television and is produced by Sony Pictures Television. The series is based on the bestsellers of R.L Stine's Scholastic series. Each season has a new story, a new setting and a new cast.

Season two follows two teenagers, brother and sister, who discover a threat that sets off a chain of events that unravels a deep mystery. As they delve into the unknown, the duo becomes entangled in the chilling story of four teenagers who mysteriously disappeared in 1994.

Sam McCarthy (large photo) and Jayden Bartels (top left photo) have been cast as twins Devin and Cece, respectively, and, continuing clockwise in the photo, Elijah Cooper as CJ, Galilea La Salvia as Frankie and Francesca Noel as Alex.

Schwimmer plays the character of Anthony, father of the twins who are visiting their father this summer.

Nicholas Stoller and Rob Letterman developed the series and are executive producers, alongside showrunner Hilary Winston, Neal H. Moritz, Scholastic Entertainment's Iole Lucchese, Pavun Shetty, Conor Welch, Scholastic Entertainment's Caitlin Friedman and Erin O'Malley.

McCarthy is known for the Netflix comedy Dead to Me starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini. McCarthy played the role of Charlie Harding, the eldest son of Jen (Applegate). He also has a recurring role on the Audience Network/Epix thriller series Condor.

Bartels is an American influencer, YouTuber, singer and actress, who mainly starred in youth series from Nickelodeon and Disney. Bartels had a guest role in Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders in 2017.

In recent years, Cooper has appeared in guest roles on Paramount+'s Evil, NBC's Chicago PD and ABC's The Rookie, among others.

La Salvia guest-starred in Apple TV+'s Truth Be Told (2019), NBC's Chicago Med and Starz's Shining Vale, among others.
