In season three, Charlie (Joe Locke) wants to tell Nick (Kit Connor) that he loves him. Nick also has something important to say to Charlie. As summer vacation draws to a close and the months rush by, the friends begin to realize that the school year will come with both joy and challenges.
As they learn more about each other and their relationships, plan social events and parties, and begin to think about college choices, everyone must learn to lean on those they love when life doesn't go according to plan.
William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Tobie Donovan, Jenny Walser, Rhea Norwood and Leila Khan also star.
The series returns in October with eight new episodes.

Eddie Marsan (pictured below) will be portraying a beloved character from the graphic novels: Geoff, Charlie’s wise and straight-talking therapist. And lastly, Jonathan Bailey will be making a cameo appearance as Jack Maddox, an Instagram-famous classicist and celebrity crush of Charlie. It was an absolute joy to see Hayley, Eddie, and Jonathan’s talent alongside our existing cast, and I can’t wait for the Heartstopper fans to meet these new characters,” shared Alice Oseman, creator and writer of the series.

Heartstopper is based on the book series by Alice Oseman. Patrick Walters, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Alice Oseman and Euros Lyn are executive producers for the See-Saw Films-produced series.
Atwell is best known for her role as Peggy Carter in the MCU universe, during which she had her own series, Agent Carter, for two seasons on ABC. She had roles in the BBC/Starz miniseries Howards End and the BBC miniseries The Long Song.
Bailey (pictured) played Timothy "Tim" Laughlin in the Showtime limited series Fellow Travelers last year. He also appeared as Olly Stevens in ITV's Broadchurch and Lord Anthony Bridgerton in Netflix's Bridgerton.
Marsan can currently be seen as Mitch Winehouse, Amy Winehouse's father in the feature film Back to Black. On television, he is best known for Showtime's Ray Donovan, in which Marsan played Ray's older brother Terrence "Terry" Donovan. Marsan had other series roles in Prime Video's The Power and the BBC miniseries Ridley Road. He can also soon be seen in Apple TV+'s Franklin and BBC/Netflix's Lockerbie.
