The network CBS has confirmed that it has no plans to order a second season of ‘Hostages’. After ‘Under the Dome’, ‘Hostages’ was CBS’s second big dip series-wise in 2013. So the network has no plans to continue the series ‘Hostages’, which struggled to stretch the plot of the series over 15 episodes.
Network president Nina Tassler confirmed at TCA via TVGuideMagazine: “The show had its run. We learned a lot from telling the story and CBS rightly refuses to blame its serialized format.”
Tassler gave a spark of hope the fans of ‘Hostages’: “I would absolutely consider pitches from the producers for a second chapter - which would likely have a different cast and story - we are always open to that possibility.”
