Revival series iCarly (2021) canceled by Paramount+ after three seasons

Paramount+ has decided not to renew the iCarly revival series for a fourth season.
iCarly (2021) stars Miranda Cosgrove as Carly, Jerry Trainor as Spencer, Nathan Kress as Freddie, Laci Mosley as Harper and Jaidyn Triplett as Millicent. The revival began in June 2021. Nearly a decade after the end of the original Nickelodeon series, we see Carly, the original influencer, and her friends now as adults looking for work, love and family.

“The series had a great three-season run and delivered on what fans really wanted to see with Carly and Freddie finally getting together,” said a Paramount+ spokesperson. “We want to thank the entire cast, the writers, directors and producers along with the whole crew for their dedication, creativity and talent.”

The original iCarly series, produced by Nickelodeon, ran from 2007 to 2012. Starring Cosgrove, Trainor, Kress and Jennette McCurdy, it followed a group of best friends who created a webcast as they grappled with everyday problems and adventures. During its original run, iCarly became a pop culture household name and regularly broke viewership records among viewers of all ages.

iCarly is produced by Nickelodeon Studios and is executive produced by Ali Schouten-Seeks (Merry Happy Whatever, Diary of a Future President) and Cosgrove, with Schouten-Seeks as showrunner. Trainor, Kress and Alissa Vradenburg (The Simple Life) are the producers.

The three seasons of the new iCarly (2021) can be streamed on Paramount+/SkyShowtime.
