Kit Harington is about to begin production on his next drama for HBO and no, we're not talking about the Jon Snow sequel.
Deadline has learned that Harington is taking part in season three of Industry, the series that HBO is co-producing with the BBC by Bad Wolf. The Game of Thrones actor will appear in a recurring role as Henry Muck, the CEO and founder of Lumi, an exciting green tech energy company about to go public.
Last summer it was announced that HBO will make a sequel to Game of Thrones, in which Jon Snow is central. If the series does materialize, it would be the post-Westeros story of Jon Snow, aka Aegon Targayen, with Harington (pictured) expected to star.
At the December GoT convention in L.A., Harington couldn't say much about the development of the series, but he did talk about how he thinks his character will come off lightly at the end of the series. "If we find him in that cell, he's preparing to be beheaded and that's what he wants," Harington told fans. "He's done.
