Apple TV+ releases Invasion season three launch date and photos

The third season of sci-fi series Invasion is on its way to Apple TV+, and the streamer has shared a launch date and photos.

Invasion is created by Simon Kinberg — known for the X-Men and Deadpool films, and The Martian — and David Weil (Hunters (2020)). The series has been praised for its cinematography and its compelling portrayal of an alien invasion from multiple human perspectives.

The first two seasons took viewers to various locations around the world, telling the stories of diverse characters, each from their own unique perspective on the invasion.

In the third season, these perspectives finally converge. The main characters are forced to work together as a team to complete a dangerous mission: penetrating the alien mothership.

The threat grows greater than ever. The so-called apex aliens—the ultimate, most deadly version of the invaders—appear and rapidly spread across the planet. The survivors must combine their collective expertise and experiences to save humanity, leading to new alliances but also to conflicts and torn relationships.

The core cast includes Golshifteh Farahani, Shiori Kutsuna, Shamier Anderson, India Brown, Shane Zaza, and Enver Gjokaj. New for season three is Erika Alexander, who joins the series as a regular.

Since its launch in 2021, Invasion has evolved into an ambitious, visually stunning science fiction series that ramps up the suspense with each season. The first and second seasons are available worldwide on Apple TV+.

Apple TV+ has announced that the third season of the science fiction series Invasion will premiere on Friday, August 22, 2025, with one episode, followed by a new episode every Friday. The season will consist of ten episodes and will run until October 24, 2025.
