Norris was introduced last season as Elliott's (Chris Meloni) brother Randall as the duo cared for their ailing mother Bernadette (Ellen Burstyn). Randall, who left the family when he was young, previously had a long-standing tension with Elliot that stemmed from an event with their father.

Norris appeared in nine of the thirteen episodes of season four. The previous season also featured a recurring character in Randall and Elliot's younger brother, Joe Jr. (Michael Trotter), who eventually became an informant for the OCCB.

Law & Order: Organized Crime is produced by Dick Wolf, showrunner John Shiban, Paul Cabbad, Meloni, Arthur W. Forney and Peter Jankowski. The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Wolf Entertainment.

Norris played Hank Schrader in all five seasons of Breaking Bad, a role he reprized in Better Call Saul. His other television roles include CBS's Under the Dome, The Big Bang Theory and United States of Al, Netflix's Girlboss and TNT's Claws.
