Lego Meister

LEGO Masters is a German game show which aired on RTL Television. The series premiered on November 18, 2018.

The first season of LEGO Masters (German: Lego Meister) in Germany consisted of 4 episodes, which was broadcast on the television channel RTL Television between Sunday, November 18, 2018 and Sunday, December 9, 2018.The preliminary rounds took place on Saturday, June 2, 2018 in Cologne, on June 16, 2018 in Munich and on June 30, 2018 in Hamburg, the show was filmed in Cologne in late summer.

The series was hosted by Oliver Geissen, while the jury consisted of LEGO senior designer Juliane Aufdembrinke and Paolo Tumminelli, design professor from Cologne. Each episode, the assignments were announced by one of the famous TV personalities Lutz van der Horst (comedian), Reiner Calmund (football fame) and dancer Joachim Llambi. Among the participants were some well-known people within the 'Lego community' such as Christoph Helfenbein from the Lego website www.imperiumdersteine.de, Claus-Marc Hahn from the Lego website www.brickscreations.com and father and son Wolfgang and Marcel Diaz from the YouTube channel Spacebricks. A candidate couple from Austria also took part.

In each of the four stand-alone episodes, four teams of two people competed. After the first round, one of the teams dropped out and the remaining three competed for victory in the episode, a LEGO trophy and a place in the League of LEGO Masters. “. All candidates received a small fee and a LEGO voucher of 100 euros.
