New cast members for final season Lucifer

Two new cast members have joined the final season of the crime fantasy series Lucifer. Merrin Dungey (Once Upon a Time) and Brianna Hildebrand (Trinkets) will be part of the final season of Lucifer. Dungey will portray Sonya, a no-nonsense cop who forms an unexpected bond with Amenadiel. Hildebrand will portray Rory. Her character is a rebellious angel, who wants to follow in the footsteps of Lucifer. The actresses join Tom Ellis (Rush) and Lauren German (Chicago Fire), amongst others.

Back in 2016, Lucifer premiered at FOX. Netflix decided to take over after it was cancelled and since then, a total of five seasons have released. The upcoming sixth season will become the final season of the series. Lucifer revolves around the dissatisfied ruler of hell, Lucifer. He renounces his title and leaves his kingdom for Los Angeles. It doesn't take long before he finds the excitement he wanted at the LAPD. He helps them punish criminals.
