BBC Two has given the green-light to Monty Don’s Japanese Gardens, a two-part series that follows Monty as he explores some of Japan’s most beautiful gardens and the West’s enduring fascination with them. Monty journey's through the country’s iconic and historic gardens, where he learns the secrets of creating a Zen landscape before visiting an unconventional garden created by a modern garden design legend. As well as touring the gardens, he experiences the country’s famous tea ceremonies and takes a lesson in the art of traditional flower arranging.
