Máxima

Máxima is a Dutch drama series which aired on Videoland. The series premiered on April 20, 2024.

The series tells the story of Máxima's journey from her early life in Argentina and New York to her future as Queen of the Netherlands. The series starts with their meeting in Seville in 1999. From the moment Máxima Zorreguieta appears at the side of the Dutch Crown Prince, she is in the spotlight. When Willem-Alexander asks her to marry, the past catches up with her when a heated discussion erupts about her father's political career in the Videla regime. A discussion that has never been had in her own circles. What makes this Argentinian ultimately flourish at an old European court? And how can Máxima remain true to herself without giving up her family, or do those two things not go together?
