ABC renews 'Nashville'

ABC has officialy renewed 'Nashville'. The country-music drama will be back for a 22-episode third season.

The drama that stars Connie Britton and Charles Esten was one of the last shows waiting for a pickup from ABC, which already announced renewals for 'Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D.', 'Grey’s Anatomy', 'Modern Family', 'Scandal', 'Resurrection', 'Revenge', 'The Goldbergs', 'Castle', 'The Middle' and 'Once Upon a Time'.

Five series weren't so lucky; 'Trophy Wife', 'Mixology', 'Suburgatory', 'The Neighbors' and 'Super Fun Night' were are all canceled.

The season 2 finale of 'Nashville' airs Wednesday, May 14.
