The hospital series is incredibly popular and the new season is finally ready to come to the streaming service after a year of waiting.
New Amsterdam has grown into a much-watched hospital series in recent years. People in both America and the Netherlands have come to love Dr. Max Goodwin. After all, he plays the lead role in the series based on the book Twelve Patients: Life and Death at Bellevue Hospital. Max is doing everything he can to become medical director.
And if he succeeds, he already has big plans in place. He wants to reform one of the oldest hospitals in America by putting an end to bureaucracy. However, Goodwin soon discovers that this is not as easy as hoped. In the meantime, he does everything he can to save the lives of his patients.
The rest of the main cast in this fourth season consists of Freema Agyeman, Janet Montgomery, Jocko Sims and Tyler Labine.
Exactly one year later it happened again. Because on June 1, 2023 we saw the third season of New Amsterdam (2018) released on Netflix. And now it's time for the fourth season. Because once again June 1 is the date. 22 episodes will be released. After that, we still have to wait for the fifth season, which will probably be released in the summer of 2025.
