Callum Turner cast in Apple TV+'s new sci-fi series Neuromancer

BAFTA Award nominated Callum Turner is joining Neuromancer, a new ten-episode sci-fi drama.
Neuromancer is based on the science fiction novel of the same name by William Gibson. Created by Graham Roland and JD Dillard, the series follows a damaged, top super-hacker named Case (Turner, pictured below) who is thrust into a web of digital espionage and high-stakes crime with his partner Molly, a female razor-wielding assassin. and reflective eyes, with the aim of ambushing a corporate dynasty with untold secrets.



Neuromancer was Gibson's debut novel that won a Nebula Award, the Philip K. Dick Award and the Hugo Award. It was the first book in the Sprawl trilogy and was followed by Count Zero and Mona Lisa Overdrive.

The series will be a co-production between Skydance Television, Anonymous Content and Apple Studios. The series is also produced by Drake's DreamCrew Entertainment, with Roland serving as showrunner and Dillard directing the first episode.

Neuromancer is produced by Roland and Dillard, alongside David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Matt Thunell for Skydance Television, Anonymous Content, Drake, Adel 'Future' Nur and Jason Shrier for DreamCrew Entertainment, Zack Hayden and Gibson.

Turner was most recently seen in Apple's limited war series Masters of the Air. He previously starred in the BBC/Peacock series The Capture and the BBC miniseries War and Peace (2016).

Roland was executive producer/co-creator of Prime Video's Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan and executive producer/creator of AMC's Dark Winds.

Dillard has directed episodes for HBO's limited psychological thriller series The Outsider (2020), CBS All Access's anthology series The Twilight Zone (2019), and Prime Video's Utopia (2020).
