Wilson Bethel and Lily Santiago cast in Netflix limited series Untamed

Wilson Bethel and Lily Santiago star opposite Eric Bana and Rosemarie DeWitt in Untamed. Written by Mark L. Smith and Elle Smith, Untamed is a character-driven mystery thriller that follows Kyle Turner (Bana), a special agent for the National Parks Service who works to enforce human law in the vast wilderness. The investigation into a brutal death sends Turner on a collision course with the dark secrets in the park and in his own past.

The Netflix limited series comes from Warner Bros. Television and studio-based John Wells Productions.



Bethel (pictured right) will play Shane Maguire. Maguire is a former park ranger and now uses his skills as the park's Wildlife Management Officer. Maguire is a loner and prefers to live alone in the wilderness, where it is easier to follow his own rules.

Santiago (pictured left) plays Naya Vasquez. Vasquez is an ambitious young former cop from Los Angeles and the newest addition to the Yosemite parks team. She came to the park to find a new life with her four-year-old son Gael. Despite being a bit inexperienced in a landscape like Yosemite, her strong will, astute investigative skills, and big city killing techniques become useful tools in a murder that is distinctly human.

Mark L. Smith and Elle Smith serve as co-showrunners and produce alongside Bana, John Wells and Erin Jontow through John Wells Productions, Todd Black and Tony Shaw for Escape Artists Entertainment, Steve Lee Jones for Bee Holder Productions and Cliff Roberts for Syndicate Entertainment. Warner Bros. Television is the studio.

Bethel, who played Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye in Netflix's Marvel's Daredevil, reprises his role in the upcoming series Daredevil: Born Again for Disney+. He also played the role of Mark Callan in the legal drama All Rise, which ran for three seasons on CBS.

Santiago had a leading role in La Brea, which ran for three seasons on NBC. She recently made her Broadway debut in Amy Herzog's Tony-nominated Mary Jane.
