All's Fair is Murphy's first series under his new deal at Disney, with 20th Television, part of Disney TV Studios, producing in association with Ryan Murphy Television.

Jon Robin Baitz, Joe Baken, Jamie Pachino, Laura Greene and Richard Levine are producing along with Murphy, Kardashian, Berry and her producing partner Holly Jeter through their production company HalleHolly and Close through her Trillium Productions. Kris Jenner, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun and Scott Robertson also executive produce. Murphy will also direct.

Berry is an Academy Award-winning actress who took home Oscar gold for her performance in Monster's Ball (2001) and became the first and only African-American woman to receive the nod in the Best Actress category. She also won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie in 2000 for her portrayal of the titular character in HBO's Introducing Dorothy Dandridge.

Berry is also known for her role as Ororo Munroe aka Storm in the X-Men film series and other film roles such as Swordfish, the James Bond film Die Another Day, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, John Wick 3: Parabellum and Moonfall; and on television she starred in the CBS science fiction series Extant.

Close has been nominated eight times for an Academy Award and made her feature film debut in George Roy Hill's The World According to Garp. She earned her first Oscar nomination for her portrayal of Jenny Fields in that film. She was subsequently nominated by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science for her work in The Big Chill, The Natural, Fatal Attraction, Stephen Frears' Dangerous Liaisons, Albert Nobbs, The Wife and Hillbilly Elegy.

She has been nominated for 14 Emmy Awards, including three wins: twice (2008, 2009) for portraying attorney Patty Hewes in Damages and NBC's television film Serving In Silence: The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story. Close has received many other accolades in her career, including three Tony Award wins.

Close recently appeared in Apple TV+'s The New Look and had a starring role in season two of Apple TV+'s spy thriller series Tehran and in director Benjamin Cleary's 2021 Apple Original film Swan Song starring Mahershala Ali.
