Li Jun Li has been cast in a regular role in Prime Video's Marvel series Spider-Noir. From executive producers/co-showrunners Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot and Sony Pictures Television, Spider-Noir tells the story of an aging and penniless private detective (Nicolas Cage) in 1930s New York who is forced to to face his past life as the city's one and only superhero.
The series is based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir.
Li (pictured) plays a singer in the most important nightclub in New York. In addition to Cage, she joins the previously cast Lamorne Morris as Robbie Robertson.
Harry Bradbeer directs and produces the first two episodes of the series, which Uziel and Lightfoot developed with the team behind Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Amy Pascal, who are also executive producers. Spider-Noir will debut domestically on MGM+'s linear channel and then globally on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.
Li had a regular role in Netflix's supernatural action series Wu Assassins. Before that, she starred in the second season of Fox's horror series The Exorcist.
Li's television roles also include recurring roles on Peacock's Based on a True Story, Paramount+'s Evil and Why Women Kill, and Netflix series Florida Man and Sex/Life (2021).
