Seven New Actors Cast for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

HBO is finalizing the cast for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
The six-episode Game of Thrones prequel series is an adaptation of George R.R. Martin's novella The Hedge Knight. It has cast Edward Ashley, Henry Ashton, Youssef Kerkour, Daniel Monks, Shaun Thomas, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor and Danny Webb in various roles.

They join the previously announced Peter Claffey as Dunk, Dexter Sol Ansell as Egg, Finn Bennett as Aerion Targaryen, Bertie Carvel as Baelor Targaryen, Tanzyn Crawford as Tanselle, Daniel Ings as Ser Lyonel Baratheon and Sam Spruell as Maekar Targaryen.

Ashley (photo) plays Ser Steffon Fossoway, Ashton portrays Daeron Targaryen (the Daeron Targaryen in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a different Daeron than the one mentioned in House of the Dragon), Kerkour is Steely Pate, Monks plays Ser Manfred Dondarrion, Thomas portrays Raymun Fossoway, Vaughan-Lawler is Plummer, and Webb portrays Ser Arlan of Pennytree.

Set a century before the events of Game of Thrones, the prequel series finds two unlikely heroes wandering Westeros... a young, naive but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg.

In a time when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne and the memory of the last dragon has not yet been erased from living memory, great destinies, powerful enemies, and dangerous exploits await these unlikely and incomparable friends.

Martin is co-creator/executive producer with Ira Parker, who also serves as showrunner. Ryan Condal, Vince Gerardis, Sarah Bradshaw, and Owen Harris also produce.
