Lead actor cast for Anne Rice's The Talamasca

Nicholas Denton has been cast as the lead in Anne Rice's The Talamasca, the third series in AMC's Anne Rice Immortal Universe.
The drama about a secret society called The Talamasca will premiere on AMC and AMC+ in 2025, with production beginning next month in Manchester, England. The six-part season will focus on the men and women responsible for tracking down and containing witches, vampires and other creatures scattered across the world.

Denton (pictured) will play Guy Anatole, brilliant, handsome and sharp on the surface, but he has always known his mind works a little differently. About to graduate from law school, he is approached by a representative of the Talamasca, a secret agency that monitors and protects us from the supernatural world.

When Guy discovers that the Talamasca has been tracking him since childhood, he finds himself thrust into a world of secret agents and immortal beings who have, until now, maintained a fragile balance with the mortal world. But in order to maintain that balance and for Guy to survive, he will have to learn to embrace the dark, treacherous depths of his true and unique self.

Anne Rice's The Talamasca is produced by John Lee Hancock and Mark Lafferty, who are also co-showrunners, and producer Mark Johnson, who oversees Anne Rice's immortal universe. Hancock will also direct.

Denton previously played the role of Valmont in Starz/Lionsgate's Dangerous Liaisons prequel series.
