The Walking Dead actor cast in Prime Video series Sterling Point

The upcoming Prime Video series Sterling Point has cast two new actors, one of whom is a familiar face from AMC's hit series The Walking Dead.
The story of Sterling Point revolves around Annie, who grew up with her twin brother, Connor, in New York City with their single father. Their lives are transformed when they discover their estranged grandfather has left them an island in a lake in his will.

Jay Duplass

The series stars Ella Rubin (Annie), Amélie Hoeferle (Ramona), Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie (Ellis), Keen Ruffalo (Connor), Bo Bragason (Oona), and Daniel Quinn-Toye (Rory).

The series was created by Megan Park, who will also direct and serve as executive producer. Sterling Point is described as an ensemble drama full of humor and heart, exploring themes of sisterhood, nature versus nurture, complex family relationships, and grief.

Recurring roles include Jay Duplass (Dying For Sex) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, better known as Negan from The Walking Dead and The Walking Dead: Dead City. Morgan will play Joe, while Duplass will play Steven.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan

Duplass starred in the critically acclaimed Prime Video comedy-drama series Transparent, alongside Jeffrey Tambor, Gaby Hoffmann, Amy Landecker, and Judith Light. The series was praised by critics and garnered eleven Primetime Emmy nominations. He co-created the HBO comedy-drama series Togetherness and the HBO anthology series Room 104. Duplass was most recently seen in the FX on Hulu series Dying For Sex.

Besides playing Negan in the Walking Dead universe, Morgan has also had other television roles, including John Winchester in The CW's fantasy-horror series Supernatural, Denny Duquette in the ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy, Jason Crouse in the CBS political drama The Good Wife, Joe Kessler in Prime Video's superhero series The Boys, and Conquest in Prime Video's adult animated superhero series Invincible.
