New names for Seth Rogen comedy series The Studio from Apple TV+

New cast and guest cast names, including Bryan Cranston, are on board for the film industry comedy series.
Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg have assembled an impressive cast for their upcoming Apple TV+ comedy series The Studio.

In addition to series co-creator and lead actor Rogen, Catherine O'Hara (pictured), Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz and Chase Sui Wonders also have regular roles.

Bryan Cranston, Keyla Monterroso Mejia and Dewayne Perkins will guest star in the series about an "old Hollywood film studio trying to survive in a world where it's becoming increasingly difficult for art and commerce to coexist."

Character details are not yet known about the series, which is created by Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory, along with Rogen and his Point Gray collaborator Goldberg and Frida Perez. Lionsgate Television is the studio for the series.

Executive producers are James Weaver, Alex McAtee and Josh Fagen of Point Gray Pictures alongside Rogen, Goldberg, Huyck, Gregory and Perez.

The Studio builds on Rogen's relationship with Apple TV+, where he and Goldberg also produce the comedy series Platonic.

O'Hara played Moira Rose on CBC's Canadian comedy series Schitt's Creek. She also appeared in Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events and will play a role in the second season of HBO's The Last of Us.

Hahn appeared in Apple TV+'s psychological comedy-drama series The Shrink Next Door with Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd, the HBO miniseries I Know This Much Is True with Mark Ruffalo and starred in Hulu's miniseries Tiny Beautiful Things. Hahn is also known as witch Agatha Harkness in Marvel's WandaVision, a role she will reprise in her own Marvel series that, after several title changes, is now simply called Agatha.

Barinholtz played the role of Brett in the first season of Apple TV's anthology series The Afterparty. He also appeared in Mel Brooks' limited sketch comedy series History of the World, Part II and the HBO miniseries The White House Plumbers.

Sui Wonders most recently appeared in a recurring role as Nikki on the comedy-drama series Bupkis, which starred ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson. Davidson indicated last week that he would not continue with a second season of the Peacock series. Sui Wonders had regular roles in Apple TV's City on Fire, which was canceled after one season, and HBO's drama series Generation.
