Freeform orders Love in Time of Corona

Joanna Johnson (Good Trouble) is working on Love in Time of Corona alongside Anonymous Content. Love in Time of Corona will consist of four episodes and show the quest for love, sex and commitment in a time of social distancing. The romantic comedy follows various stories, which are interconnected. The series will premiere in August, but an exact date has not yet been confirmed.

Love in Time of Corona will be shot from a distance using various technologies. Joanna Johnson will serve as executive producer, alongside Robyn Meisinger (Call Me Fitz) from Anonymous Content and Christine Sacani (Good Trouble).

Love in Time of Corona is not the first series that revolves around the coronavirus. All Rise, for example, created an entire episode via social media. Next to that, Social Distance from Jenji Kohan (Orange Is the New Black) and the British series Isolation Stories from Jeff Pope also revolve around the virus.
