Based on iHeart's true-crime podcast of the same name, the series follows the infamous story of how an armed robbery on the night of Muhammad Ali's (Dexter Darden) historic comeback fight in 1970 changed not only one man's life, but ultimately Atlanta as well turned into the 'Black Mecca'.
When a hustler named Chicken Man (Kevin Hart, pictured above) hosts an after-party to celebrate the fight with a guest list of the country's wealthiest, the evening ends with the most brazen criminal underworld heist in Atlanta history.
Suspected of masterminding the crime, Chicken Man is determined to clear his name, but must confront his old adversary J.D. Hudson (Don Cheadle), one of the first black detectives in the city's segregated police force, who must bring those responsible to justice.
The main characters are Samuel L. Jackson, Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard. Guest stars include Chloe Bailey, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Lori Harvey and Sinqua Walls.
Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist was created and written by Shaye Ogbonna based on the podcast of the same name from iHeartPodcasts, Doghouse Pictures and Will Packer Media.

Hartbeat's Tiffany Brown and Studio 43's Kenny Burns will co-executive produce. The series comes from Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.
