Actor Brian Dennehy passed away from natural causes at the age of 81. He was, amongst others, part of The Blacklist.
Brian Dennehy could be seen in Hap and Leonard, Public Morals, The Good Wife and in the final episode of The Big C. The Blacklist was the last series in which the actor appeared. Dennehy portrayed Dominic Wilkinson, who was a Russian KGB agent. He is one of the few characters that know the secret of Raymond Reddington (James Spader). The actor passed away from natural causes at the age of 81 in his apartment in New Haven on the 15th of April.

After various good reactions to a role in a play, Dennehy moved to Los Angeles. Here he became a professional actor at the age of 38. For his portrayal of notorious serial killer John Wayne Gacy in To Catch a Killer from 1992, Dennehy was nominated for an Emmy. This wasn't the only time he was nominated, in total he received six nominations.

This was one of those headlines that you encountered everywhere in the 80s. Especially a lot of supporting roles in movies. This is a series site, but I do not want to forget that he was best known to me for his cool role as Sheriff in First Blood. RIP Mr. Dennehy .....
