Premiere dates new Hulu series

Hulu has announced premiere dates for a new comedy series and two new drama series: "Up Here," "Saint X," and Tiny Beautiful Things.
The streaming service has also released some details for the three series.

With Mae Whitman (Good Girls), Carlos Valdes (The Flash (2014)), Katie Finneran (Bloodline), John Hodgman (Blindspot), Andréa Burns (Jessica Jones), Sophia Hammons (series debut), Emilia Suárez (series debut) and Scott Porter (Ginny & Georgia) in the lead roles, "Up Here" is a comedy series set in New York City in 1999. All eight episodes of the first season come at once, on Friday, March 24.

Hulu revealed the following about the plot of the series:

"A musical romantic comedy set in New York City in the waning days of 1999, following the extraordinary story of one ordinary couple, Lindsay and Miguel, as they fall in love and discover that the single greatest obstacle to finding happiness together might just be themselves – and the treacherous world of memories, obsessions, fears and fantasies that lives inside their heads."

Tiny Beautiful Things, a limited drama series, arrives Friday, April 7, with all eight episodes airing on that day. Kathryn Hahn (photo, Marvel's WandaVision), Sarah Pidgeon (The Wilds), Quentin Plair (Roswell, New Mexico) and Tanzyn Crawford (series debut) star. The series is based on the work of Cheryl Strayed. It follows a woman (Hahn) who becomes a "respected advice columnist when her own life falls apart."

Hulu revealed more about the plot of the series in a press release:

"When we first meet Clare, her marriage to her husband Danny (Quentin Plair) is on its last leg. Her daughter, Rae, will barely talk to her. And her once-promising writing career is non-existent. So when an old writing friend suggests she take over as the advice columnist Dear Sugar, she thinks she’s the last person for the job. But after reluctantly agreeing, she realizes that she might just be completely qualified. As the letter writers force Clare to revisit her most pivotal moments – the death of her mother, the fallout with her brother, even some awful sex in the back office of a funeral home – she excavates the beauty, struggle and humor in her own life to show us that we are not beyond rescue, that it’s our stories that can ultimately save us. And maybe even bring us back home. "

Liz Tigelaar (Little Fires Everywhere, The Morning Show) is creator, showrunner and executive producer, along with executive producers Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, Lauren Neustadter, Stacey Silverman, Jayme Lemons, Cheryl Strayed and Kathryn Hahn. The series is from ABC Signature and Hello Sunshine.

And finally, the drama series "Saint X" will premiere on Wednesday, April 26 with three of the eight episodes of the first season. Alycia Debnam-Carey (photo, Fear The Walking Dead), Josh Bonzie (The Good Fight), West Duchovny (The Magicians), Jayden Elijah (Hank Zipzer), Bre Francis (Malory Towers), Kenlee Anaya Townsend (series debut), Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad) and Michael Park (Stranger Things) star in the series based on the novel by Alexis Schaitkin.

The story of the series is told through multiple timelines, and it explores and twists the genre of the lost girl. The story explores how the disappearance of a young woman while on vacation creates a traumatic ripple effect that ultimately drags her surviving sister into a perilous search for the truth.
