The Mutiny Hotel was Casablanca on cocaine; a glitzy nightclub, restaurant and hotel frequented by Florida businessmen and politicians, international narcos, CIA and FBI agents, models, sports stars and musicians. At the center of it all was Compte, who did his best to keep everything going and make his American dream come true.
In addition to leading actors Danny Pino, Michael Chiklis, Mark Feuerstein, Yul Vazquez, Tania Watson, Corina Bradley and Laura Gordon, Candy Santana, Don Mike, Lola Claire, Matthew Del Negro, Pedro Giunti, Robert Beck, Sam Robards and Victor Oliveira also appear.
Santana plays Gale, a Mutiny Club girl and Janice's (Gordon) right-hand man. Mike plays Omar, the maitre'd of the Mutiny Club. Claire plays Trini, a Mutiny Club girl and Giunti plays Guillermo, Nestor's (Vazquez) henchman and driver. They have recurring roles in the series.
Del Negro plays Phil Nolan, Janice's abusive ex-boyfriend, Beck plays Marty Owens, a customs officer on Henao's payroll, Robards plays Hal, a former CIA handler of Nestor and Burton (Feuerstein), and Oliveira plays Alvaro Gomez, a envoy of Henao and Yolanda's cartel (Mayra Hermosillo). They all play guest roles.
Previously announced guest stars include Hermosillo, Juan Pablo Raba, Erniel Baez, Nick Barkla, Cale Ambrozic, Camila Valero and Maggie Lacey.
Hotel Cocaine will air on MGM+ on Sunday, June 16, with new episodes on Sundays through August 4.
Brancato created the series and serves as executive producer and showrunner. Navarro directed the pilot and is producing the series with Brancato. Michael Panes and Alfredo Barrios Jr. are also executive producers. Hotel Cocaine is produced by MGM+ Studios in association with Stan in Australia and distributed internationally by Amazon MGM Studios Distribution.
