Prime Video Reveals Trailer, Premiere Date for Action-Drama Series Hotel Costiera

The new international series Hotel Costiera is coming soon to Prime Video. The streaming service has officially set the premiere date and released a first trailer. A mix of action, drama and comedy, Hotel Costiera is set against the breathtaking backdrop of Italy’s Amalfi Coast. It stars Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy) as Daniel De Luca, a half-Italian former U.S. Marine. Daniel returns to his native Italy to work as a “fixer” at one of Europe’s most luxurious hotels, located in the picturesque Amalfi Coast town of Positano.

The series follows Daniel’s dual mission. On the one hand, he has to solve the daily problems of the wealthy hotel guests. On the other, he gets involved in a personal quest: he tries to track down Alice, the missing daughter of the hotel owner — she disappeared a month earlier under mysterious circumstances. This quest confronts him with dangerous opponents, and soon proves to be more complex and dangerous than anything he has encountered during his military career.

Hotel Costiera was shot entirely in Italy and is directed by Emmy winner Adam Bernstein (known for Breaking Bad, Fargo) together with Italian director Giacomo Martelli. The concept comes from Luca Bernabei and the screenplay was written by Elena Bucaccio, Matthew Parkhill and Francesco Arlanch.

Hotel Costiera arrives on Prime Video in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, and English-speaking countries – the US, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand – on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Fremantle handles international distribution in all other territories.
