Netflix starts filming Dutch thriller series The Dinner Club

Netflix has started filming the new Dutch series De Eetclub, a thrilling thriller based on the bestseller of the same name by Saskia Noort. When Karen and her family move to the idyllic and seemingly perfect Bergen, she is welcomed with open arms by a close-knit group of friends who call themselves the Eetclub. This group seems to lead the perfect life full of luxury, parties and intrigue. But the facade quickly crumbles when one of the villas goes up in flames and Evert, a member of the club, is killed. His family barely survives the fire.


Loes Haverkort

Karen begins to doubt the true nature of her new friends. What started as a warm welcome turns into a search for dark secrets, deceit and betrayal. How far will Karen go to find the truth – and at what price?

The main roles in De Eetclub are played by Loes Haverkort, Rifka Lodeizen, Charlie Chan Dagelet and Noortje Herlaar, among others. The series is produced by Fiction Valley.

On Instagram, Netflix shares a photo of the cast, which also consists of Edwin Jonker, Matthijs van de Sande Bakhuyzen, Remko Vrijdag and Teun Luijkx.
