Hulu reveals spring/summer 2024 launch dates

Hulu is gearing up for summer with new releases on the streaming service.
Viewers will see new seasons of returning favorites Hit-Monkey (season two), Futurama (season twelve), Only Murders in the Building (season four) and Solar Opposites (season five).

A start date for Only Murders in the Building will be announced later, but dates for the other three series are already available.

Hit-Monkey

Hulu announced more about these returns in the press release below:

Hit-Monkey season two is an animated series for adults and consists of ten episodes. The second season of Hit-Monkey can be streamed from Monday, July 15.

Synopsis: In New York City, Monkey finds a way to escape his life of murder, while Bryce tries to repair the damage done to those he has wronged in his life. But what will it cost them to undo the past? In New York City, Monkey battles his dark nature as he tries to escape his life of killing.

The voice cast includes Leslie Jones, Ally Maki, Olivia Munn, Fred Tatasciore and Jason Sudeikis. Co-creation and production comes from Josh Gordon & Will Speck. The series is produced by 20th Television Animation.

Futurama

Futurama season twelve is an animated series for adults and has ten episodes. The series can be streamed from Monday, July 29, with one episode every week. The season will soon be available internationally on Disney+

Synopsis: Following Hulu's critically acclaimed revival of Futurama in 2023, Matt Groening and David X. Cohen's epic sci-fi series returns in 2024 with ten brand new episodes. In this orbit around the sun, our sometimes heroic crew goes on mind-bending adventures involving life-and-death birthday parties, the secrets of Bender's ancestral robot village, A.I. friends (and enemies), impossibly cute beanbags, and the five-million-year-old story behind the mind-altering substance coffee. And of course, the next chapter in Fry and Leela's ill-fated, time-warped romance.

The animated series created by Matt Groening and developed by Groening and David X. Cohen. Executive producers are Groening, Cohen, Ken Keeler and Claudia Katz. The series is produced by 20th Television Animation.

Solar Opposites

Solar Opposites season five is an animated series for adults and consists of twelve episodes. The series can be streamed from Monday, August 12 and will soon be available internationally on Disney+

Synopsis: In season five of Solar Opposites, with alien mission partners Terry and Korvo married, the entire Solar Opposites team is focused on family values.
Solar Opposites is produced by Mike McMahan and Josh Bycel. The series is produced by 20th Television Animation.

Only Murders in the Building returns this summer with season four on Hulu in the US and Disney+ internationally. It is not yet known how many episodes the fourth season will consist of. A precise start date will follow later.

Synopsis: From the minds of Steve Martin, Dan Fogelman and John Hoffman comes a timeless comedy murder-mystery series. Only Murders in the Building follows three strangers (Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez) who share an obsession with true crimes and suddenly become embroiled in it. When a gruesome death occurs in their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building, the trio suspect murder and use their intimate knowledge of true crime to uncover the truth.

While recording their own podcast to document the case, the three unravel the complex secrets of the building that go back years. Perhaps even more explosive are the lies they tell each other.
