The first trailer for the comedy-drama has been released, setting the upbeat tone of the series and promising an emotional plot that has piqued our interest.

The trailer features Nina and Evie, two sisters whose lives are intertwined in the best possible way - from morning runs to their love for Taylor Swift, the two women completely understand each other. Things take a turn when Evie decides to marry a man she barely knows, just six weeks after meeting him. This sudden change makes Nina very uncomfortable, but she wants to stay with her sister through thick and thin, and so begins the series of mistakes and a journey of evolution.

The series was created by Storrie and Matilda Curtis and comes from the makers of the successful series Fleabag and The Tourist. Dinosaur appears to be a slice-of-life comedy series with elements of sisterhood, identity and interdependence, as the trailer describes the theme as "even sisters must evolve".

But Nina's relationship with her sister isn't the entire focus of the series, as we also see her grapple with new directions in her career in paleontology and a budding relationship with the kind-hearted man she meets.

The series seems to be a sincere comedy series that has something for everyone with its themes and plot, supported by powerful actors in the cast. The series stars Storrie in her debut role as Nina, Kat Ronney as her sister Evie and Vicki Pepperdine as their mother.

The cast also includes David Carlyle as Bo, Lorn Macdonald as Lee, Danny Ashok as Ranesh and Greg Hemphill as Ade. Rounding out the cast are Sabrina Sandhu as Amber, Ben Rufus Green as Shane, Jim Kitson as Declan, Sally Howitt as Diane, Kate Dickie as Cecily and Sanjeev Kohli as Sachin.

All episodes of Dinosaur will be released on Hulu on Friday, April 5.

The six-episode series comes from Two Brothers Pictures and is produced by Sarah Hammond, Katie Churchill, Harry Williams and Jack Williams. Caitriona Renton is co-executive producer, Niamh McKeown directs and Brian Coffey produces.
