Mandelli steals the show as Karin, an aging prostitute who wants to do things differently. She's really cool and her vulnerability makes you support her. After three episodes I was still not completely convinced. That was because I still missed some 'depth', some real, pure and raw feelings. This series is a bit like Pleasure Girl, but Angela had a better screenplay and she's such a wonderfully delightful actress that you'll drown in her character (and her eyes), haha! In the second half of the first season my loss changed, from episodes 6 and 7 I was completely on board. Portuguese is a beautiful melodic language, very sexy (grin). The more the ladies take their fate into their own hands, the more fascinating the series becomes. Nice, very nice!
