Another major casting for Only Murders in the Building season four has been announced

Hulu has once again announced a big name for the fourth season of the successful series Only Murders in the Building.
Zach Galifianakis is the latest big name to join the cast of Only Murders in the Building for the Hulu murder comedy's fourth season.

Galifianakis joins lead actors/executive producers Steve Martin, who also created the series, Martin Short and Selena Gomez, as well as new actors Molly Shannon, Eva Longoria, Eugene Levy, Kumail Nanjiani and the returning Meryl Streep.

Galifianakis (photo), known from The Hangover film trilogy, will soon be seen in the film Winner and will voice Jumba in the live-action film adaptation of Disney's Lilo & Stitch. He was the creator/writer/executive producer/lead actor of the FX comedy-drama Baskets, for which he received a 2017 Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

All of the new characters will play important roles in the investigation into the murder of Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch), Charles-Haden Savage's (Martin) stunt double from his years on the Brazzos series and its 2020 revival.

Disney Television Group President Craig Erwich revealed in a recent interview that Only Murders in the Building's trio of detectives, Charles, Oliver (Short) and Mabel (Gomez), will kick off the new season with a trip to Los Angeles before returning to The Arconia in their search for Sazz's killer.

In the third season finale, Loretta (Streep), Oliver and Mabel considered moving to Los Angeles.

Only Murders in the Building, Hulu's most-watched original comedy, is produced by 20th Television and is created and written by Martin and John Hoffman, who also executive produces alongside Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal.
