As the series' official trailer (at the bottom of this news story) reveals, there's still a lot going on for the trio of Charles-Hayden Savage (Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short), and Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez).
From New York City to Los Angeles, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel will grapple with the shocking events of season three surrounding the untimely death of Charles' stunt double Sazz Pataki. Wondering if Sazz or Charles was the intended victim, the trio’s investigation takes them to Los Angeles, where a Hollywood studio is preparing a film about the podcast Only Murders.
As the amateur sleuths race back to New York, they embark on an epic journey—traversing the courtyard of their building to delve into the lives of the residents of the Arconia’s West Tower.
Returning stars Meryl Streep, Michael Cyril Creighton, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph are joined by Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria, Zach Galifianakis, Melissa McCarthy, Molly Shannon, Kumail Nanjiani, and Richard Kind.
Martin and John Hoffman’s series received a whopping 21 Emmy nominations in multiple major categories, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series for Martin and Short, Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for Gomez, and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Streep.
