Orange Is The New Black draait om Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling), een New Yorker die naar een vrouwengevangenis wordt gestuurd nadat ze betrapt werd met een koffer vol met drugsgeld afkomstig van haar vriendin Alex Vause (Laura Prepon), een internationale drugshandelaar en Chapman’s voormalige geliefde. Piper moet op haar eigen manier de opgelegde vijftien maanden gevangenisstraf zien te doorkomen.

Great series, with great characters. Acting turns out to be a profession and that becomes clear in a positive way in Orange is The New Black. I'm definitely looking forward to season 2.

OitnB is a good example of a series where they forgot to stop when the story is finished. S1 was fantastic. I really enjoyed that. Piper who ends up in a women's prison as a bum bitch .. her reactions, family reactions, really well done. S2 still went well, especially the cliffhanger was done very well. And from there it was rapidly downhill. I did watch S5 all the way and that was really the epitome of bad TV. I have removed orange from my list. I hope Netflix is smart enough to get orange off the tube. Then give me back Sence8.
