‘Outer Banks’ Renewed For Season 3 By Netflix

The Pogues are coming back for more. Netflix has renewed the breakout series Outer Banks for a third season. The good news was released through a video of the cast who were celebrating the renewal at a safe distance. This video was placed on the Twitter account of the streaming service.

Outer Banks has been a hit for Netflix since the series premiere. The second season, which debuted in July, held the No. 1 spot globally in Netflix’s Top 10 TV (English) list for the four weeks following its launch.

The series takes place in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It follows a local group of friends who are known as the Pogues. After a hurricane caused a blackout during the summer season, countless illegal events occur. The father of the group leader is missing, and a search begins. A treasure hunt with high stakes, forbidden relations and an escalating conflict between the Pogues and their rivals results in life-changing decisions.
