A date has finally been set for the return of Party Down. Starz has revealed the premiere date and released a trailer that shows the return of the series.
Adam Scott (Severance), Ken Marino (Black Monday), Ryan Hansen (A Million Little Things), Martin Starr (Tulsa King), Jane Lynch (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) and Megan Mullally (Will & Grace) are all returning for the comedy series, which picks up with the team of friends 10 years later. Jennifer Garner (Alias), Tyrel Jackson Williams (Brockmire) and Zoë Chao (The Afterparty) are joining the cast for the six-episode season. James Marsden (Westworld) will guest star.
Starz revealed more about the return of the Party Down series:
"Starz announced today the long-awaited return of the hit comedy series “Party Down” is set to premiere on Friday, February 24 at midnight on the Starz app, all Starz streaming, and on-demand platforms, and internationally on the Lionsgate+ premium streaming platform in the UK, Brazil and Latin America. The third season will consist of six new episodes.
Ten years later, most of the Party Down catering team have moved on, including actor/bartender Henry Pollard (Adam Scott, photo). After a surprise reunion, the gang finds themselves once again stoically enduring the procession of random parties and oddball guests all over Los Angeles.
Scott reprises his role alongside original cast members Ken Marino, Jane Lynch, Martin Starr, Ryan Hansen, and Megan Mullally.
The third season is produced by Rob Thomas (Veronica Mars), John Enbom (iZombie), Paul Rudd (The Shrink Next Door), Dan Etheridge (iZombie), and Adam Scott. Enbom also serves as a showrunner. Party Down is produced for Starz by Lionsgate Television.
