In the new TV series 'Patient Elias', the writer and TV maker therefore tries to "examine his mind." To do this, he enlists the help of Damiaan Denys, head of the psychiatry department at the EUMC in Amsterdam. It follows him for half a year in the search for a better life, with fewer fears. For example, he talks to well-known and less well-known fellow sufferers, he provides insights into the fear he suffers from and he even has his therapy sessions filmed.
