Trailer for Penny Dreadful: City of Angels

Starting next month, we will be able to watch the spin-off of Penny Dreadful. Showtime has just released the trailer. The spin-off will take place in Los Angeles in 1938. In this time there was a lot of political and social tension.
After a horrible murder is committed, Detective Tiago Vega (Daniel Zovatto, Here and Now) and his partner Lewis Michener (Nathan Lane, Modern Family) become caught up in a story that reflects the rich history of Los Angeles. Penny Dreadful: City of Angels investigates a mix of the supernatural and the reality in Los Angeles at that time.

Earlier, showtime released the teaser. Also, the news came out that Penny Dreadful: City of Angels would premiere on the 26th of April. Showtime has finally released the full trailer. You can view it down below.



Creator John Logan wrote Penny Dreadful and is now again a writer and executive producer of the spin-off. In addition to Zovatto and Lane, Piper Perabo, Natalie Dormer, Kerry Bishé, Amy Madigan, Brent Spiner and Rory Kinnear will be part of the cast.
