OWN has announced the premiere date of the sixth season of Queen Sugar. Next to that, a trailer for the American drama series has been released as well. Earlier this year,
Queen Sugar was renewed with its sixth season. This was a month before the premiere of the fifth season. Now, the time has come for the sixth season to begin its run. The first episode will air on OWN on the 7th of September.
With the premiere date announcement, the network has also shared the first trailer of the season.
Queen Sugar follows the lives of two sisters, Nova and Charley Bordelon. The latter moves with her teenage son Micah to the centre of Lousiana to claim the inheritance of her recently deceased father, an 800 square feet sugar cane plantation.
