Raising Dion will receive a second season

Raising Dion is an American superhero series. It was released on Netflix on the 4th of October 2019 The superhero drama Raising Dion revolves around a single mother, who is played by Alisha Wainwright, who finds out that her 8-year-old son has several superpowers. Alongside Pat (Jason Ritter), a friend of her late husband, she tries to protect Dion from a potential malicious world.

Raising Dion is based on the comic book of the same name by Dennis Liu and was further edited by Michael B. Jordan. Dion (Ja'Siah Young) is starting to develop more and more mysterious powers, with which he himself hardly knows what to do. In the meantime, the government is hunting him.



Raising Dion has been renewed by Netflix with a second season. In the last days of 2019, it was announced that the series was among the best viewed series of the year. The second season of Raising Dion will consist of eight episodes of one hour. That is different from the first season. It consisted of nine episodes, with varying lengths of 38 to 50 minutes. The production of the second season will start soon.
